About our Badge

Our badge (as indicated above) represents the borders of our District.

The eastern border starts at Isando Road (between suburbs of Isando & Croydon of Kempton Park - a town near the Johannesburg International Airport) and extends to the western border of Troyeville (a suburb in Johannesburg). This is represented by the aeroplane symbol.

Our northern border is the ESKOM power lines that run along the R25 (Modderfontein road) bordering Edenvale and extends to the south to the R29 (Main Reef road). This is represented by the power line pylon.

As our western and southern borders are hills of the suburbs of Sunnyridge & Kensington / Bez Valley, these are represented by the two hill symbols.

The colour of the badge is based on the same colours as used in the District Scarf which is only worn by our District Staff members. The colours of our scarf is orange and black. The border is black. A District badge is sewn on the apex.
